Something terrible happened to Clarinda Braxton 200 years ago. Recently widowed Sylvie Andrus is determined to find out what, even if she has to collaborate with ghosts. Her young son Jason tries to stop her, but Sylvie persists until she nearly loses him.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the Author/Publisher and was under no obligation to post a review, positive or negative.

My Thoughts
I’ll be honest. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a novel like this, two different eras with paranormal elements. But, Fite has done a wonderful job in creating a captivating novel. One that’s filled with a story line that will keep you hooked, guessing and wanting more. One that has characters that work their way into your heart and don’t want to leave. This alternate timeline story is unique and beautifully written. The emotions of the characters are felt by the reader, the pages turn fast and before you know it, you’re at the end of the book, thinking, reflecting and wanting more. I loved the Fite captured this one and turned it out for her readers. I can’t wait to read more just like it!
