My Thoughts
I love being a Bookstagrammer. Why, you ask? Because of books like this. I had absolutely no clue who this Meagan Brandy chick was……….until I did. Yep. Bookstagram made me do it for this one! One of my good friends on Instagram (@creationsbysuzy if you want to look her up) talked about this one and I fell in love with the covers of these books. So, I went to Amazon and ordered the Kindle copy. Then I ordered the print copy. Because I just had to have them physically on my shelf, because oh my goood God, MADDOC. Major swooning going on with that brooding bad boy! And Raven? She’s a badass chick and every girl should want to be her.
The writing style that Brandy uses is phenomenal and instantly captivating. I felt every bit of the angsty emotions she wrapped up in this book and they didn’t let me go easily! And can we just talk a minute about the amazingness that is Captain and Royce, Maddoc’s brothers? Hot dayum! Yes siree this book was life for me. It’s way beyond worthy of just a simple “5 star review”. This book should be on every book lovers shelf. This book should be in the hands of everyone that loves angst, heartache, pain, love, passion and so much more. I only have a handful of authors that I absolutely, without question, will auto buy, never knowing what the book is about and Brandy just earned herself a spot in that handful! Go now and grab your copy of this magnificent novel now! You won’t be sorry!
