My Thoughts
Holy WOW! This is my very first read by Aly Martinez but let me tell you this: It will NOT, I repeat, it will NOT be my last one. This book was life for me! I devoured it like my last breath depended on it and I finished it in record time! From start to finish, Thea and Ramsay consumed me and I didn’t know where I would end up.
Thea and Ramsay’s story is a breathtaking blend of childhood friendship, coming of age and a second chance at a forever love. They had laugh out loud moments, bring you to your knees weaping moments and moments that will make you want to throw your Kindle. That kind of novel, is one that I want to scream at the top of my lungs for everyone to grab and read.
This is by far, my top read of 2020, so far. Martinez has a beautiful talent and one that has created a forever fan in me. If you want a novel that has ALL THE FEELS, a novel that will be with long after that last word is read, one that will leave you hungry for me, then Release is the one you want. I fell in love with Ramsay and Thea, and I know that you will, too, if you give this one a chance.
