My Thoughts
I’m a huge fan of Romcoms. So, when I saw that there was a book called Waiting For Tom Hanks (I am seriously addicted to that guy! I love him in every single thing he’s ever played in.), I jumped. It sounded ridiculously adorable and I was not disappointed! Kerry Winfrey has created a wonderful start to this series!
I absolutely loved Annie’s character! She loved the same movies I am totally obsessed with, and I saw myself in her in so many ways! And, when she meets Drew, the sparks went to flying and I felt every one of them, even if they didn’t. Their characters were perfectly chiseled and I loved laughing out loud with them.
If you love romcoms, then you need to grab this one up. It’s the first in a series, and the characters are reminiscent of Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal, and more! The writing style of Winfrey is engaging and gripping and really pulls the reader in. I definitely recommend this one and can’t wait to see what she has in store for us with the next Tom Hanks book!
