My Thoughts
Wowzers! Yep. I said it. Wowzers. I don’t normally use that word but Murphy has created a epic story with Her Defiant Heart. From the start, the reader is pulled to the heart of the story and taken on a masterful rollercoaster ride.
With ups and downs, twists and turns, Murphy tells Jensen and Rhett’s story. The attraction that the two share is powerful. Jensen’s story of seeking revenge on her birth mom is a unique one. I loved watching her story unfold. I could feel her emotions like they were my own.
And Rhett…..oh lawd, I want my own Rhett! He was beautifully chiseled and perfect for his role in Jensen’s life. When Jensen’s secrets come to light…..well, just hang on. It’s one hell of a ride!
If you want a fast paced, completely captivating, undeniably amazing story, then this 5 star read is for you. But, be warned! There is an absolutely epic cliffhanger at the end, and it will leave you wanting more instantly. I can’t wait to read book 2 and find out more!
