My Thoughts
If you don’t know me well, then you don’t know that Wanda Brunstetter is one of my absolute favorite authors. So, if you are new to my blog, then you can learn right now that she is my favorite author. And, it’s not just because she writes amazing Amish fiction. It’s also because she’s incredibly talented and gathers authentic Amish recipes, and, together with beautiful, inspiring photos, creates a wonderful cookbook that is perfect for family reunions or just a simple friend get together or church potluck supper.
I will be honest and tell you this. I suffer from an Alpha Gal allergy which means I can’t eat many recipes safely. But, I can alter them just a bit, which is exactly what I did with Sloppy Bar-B-Q. It was absolutely delish! It tasted 100% better than Manwhich from a can, that’s for sure.
If you have an upcoming gathering and aren’t sure what to bring, check out this 5 star cookbook from the talented hands of Wanda Brunstetter. She has amazing recipes for any occasion, from drinks to main dishes to desserts and appetizers, within the pages, and the pictures for some of the recipes are absolutely, eye catchingly gorgeous. In addition, she includes tips and inspirational pages. Don’t miss it! Grab it up now.
