Lynn H. Blackburn is the author of Hidden Legacy (Love Inspired, June 2017) and Covert Justice, winner of the 2016 Selah Award for Mystery and Suspense and the 2016 Carol Award for Short Novel. Blackburn believes in the power of stories, especially those that remind us that true love exists, a gift from the Truest Love. My Thoughts
I love finding new to me authors, especially when it’s one like this! Ms. Blackburn is a fantastic author! She has created a wonderful story, full of amazing characters and I was hooked from the first page. Each page, each new character, each new plot twist had me on the edge of my seat and staying up late to finish the intense, captivating ride.
I loved Ryan and Leigh so much! They were wonderfully chiseled and their feelings really jumped off the page and became my own. The way they interacted and the way their story just pulled together was fantabulous.
This is a 4 star worthy novel and each page is fantastically done. The intensity of the crimes, the grace and mercy that’s woven in, the sparks of romance between characters really pull the reader into the middle of the story and doesn’t let them go. This is one of those books that will stay with you long, long past the last page. I’m highly anticipating the release of book in this fantastic new series! Well done, Ms. Blackburn! You’ve got a forever fan in me!

“No one deserves to die forgotten”
This quote really captured me. I don’t know why. I just loved the way it jumped out at me. This, to me, seeing this quote before reading the book, really gave me something to think about. What does it really mean? Do we really know? To me, digging a little deeper into my own soul and analyzing this quote, it’s really about loved ones. Never forgetting who they are, where they are, why there are in our lives. After reading the book, it’s truly what it was about. Finding out that someone, a John Doe, is dead and their family may not even know. What does this quote mean to YOU? Tell me in a comment below!

“No one deserves to die forgotten” takes on a lot of different meanings for me. There is the obvious one about someone being all alone with no one to love or to even remembering that they ever existed. However, to me it takes on a whole different meaning. This is probably because my Mom died with Alzheimer. We learned that even if one isn’t physically dead, once they aren’t able to interact in a “normal” way in society or lose their voice through disease that folks seem to abandon them making them see to die forgotten long before their bodies die.
