I loved this book! It’s a quick, captivating read and I loved the writing style of Ms. Henrie. She has a beautiful way of pulling the reader into the heart of the story instantly and making them feel apart of the whirlwind of fun. I loved Edward and Maggy’s characters. They were perfectly chiseled and true-to-life. I loved Maggy’s head strongness and the way she stood true to her feelings. I loved Edward and how he helped Maggy. The sparks truly flew between them and watching them come to terms with their feelings captivated me. Ms. Henrie did a phenomenal job at incorpating the messages of the Lord with the beautiful story of a second chance at love. The intriguing touch of suspense, the beautiful romance that blossoms, the rich historical detail all makes for a fabulous 4 star read!
