His Baby Dilemma

(Shores of Indian Lake #9)

Catherine Lanigan

Adult Contemporary Romance

Paperback & ebook, 384 pages

December 1st 2017 by Harlequin Heartwarming

Must they always be continents apart?

Nobody expects Paris fashion designer Grace Railton to settle down in her Indiana town, least of all Mica Barzonni. Fifteen months ago, he turned to her for comfort and compassion following a farming accident that left him permanently injured. Then she returned to France and went silent on him.

Until, suddenly, Grace shows up on his doorstep with life-altering news. Mica, a father? He’s barely learned to navigate his postaccident life. But this could be his chance to become the man he’s always wanted to be—the husband and father Grace and their baby son need. Now Mica just has to convince her to stay.

My Thoughts
This is my first Catherine Lanigan book and it certainly won’t be my last. I wasn’t sure what to think of this book when I started it, as I hadn’t heard of this author before, but when I saw she wrote for Chicken Soup For The Soul, I couldn’t pass up the chance to review this book. I am so pleased that I did!

This sweet book is so full of fun loving characters and a sweet, sweet baby that will steal your heart! And Mica…..oh my, Mica. He’s a man any woman would be lucky to have! My heart flip flopped for him so many times, wanting to reach out and pray for him, and hug him. Watching him come to terms with being a dad, and handling the aftermath of a traumatic time for him, was truly breathtaking. Of course, Grace got on my bad side as soon as I “met” her character, but sticking it out and reading the book until the last page, well let’s just say that she is just right for her role.

If you want a good, clean, loving story, then look no further than this beautiful chiseled story. If you don’t fall in love with it from my review, then just look at that cover……who can resist a chubby cheeked little guy like that? This 4 star story is a keeper, in my opinion and I can’t wait to read the other books in this series, and I’m looking forward to many more fantastically written novels by this talented lad.y Well done!
