So, this year, I’m participating in Armchair Book Expo. I love that it happens and have always wanted to go to the actual Book Expo, but sadly, I’ve never had the chance. What better way than to join in the fun virtually from the comfort of my own chair, with my mason jar of sweet iced tea and a book!
Today’s daily topic is introductions! I’ll be introducing myself by answering a few questions.
- I’m Molly. I enjoy reading outside on the porch, or curled up inside under a blanket. I love good ol’ iced cold sweet tea in a mason jar. I’m a mama of two teen boys (well, one will be 13 in two weeks so close enough!), and married to my fire fighting husband. I’ve been reading since I was a young girl, and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon!
- I love mason jars, cows, Amish and books!
- My favorite authors are Karen Kingsbury, Wanda Brunstetter, Julie Lessman and Sarah Jio. Those four authors can always pull me out of any book funk!
- My current read is
- My blog/social media sites are Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Google+

Reading on the porch is the best!! I just hope the weather starts to cooperate so I can do that.
Yummy on the iced tea?
I haven’t read any of the authors you listed, but I know of them.
Nice to meet you.

Armchair BookExpo Introduction
Hey Molly! So glad to see that you are taking part! 🙂
Oh porch reads are wonderful. I like to lay in my hammock 🙂 Hope you have fun with Armchair Book Expo!

It’s a pleasure to meet you. There’s nothing like reading outside on a comfy porch or out in the woods. I’m an avid reader that turned author. This my fourth year attending Armchair Book Expo. One of my life goals is to attend Book Expo as a participating author.
I like reading inside on my recliner by the window where I can also birdwatch. Introductions and Best Practices
I love reading outside on the back porch! And yay for sweet tea, although I prefer to make my own as sometimes restaurants put waaaaay too much sugar in and turn it into a sugar slushie. Ugh! Have a happy ABE!
I have always wanted a porch – the perfect place to read! I have to make to with a deck.
Enjoy this wonderful week of bookish interactions!
Happy Armchair Book Expo! I love to read outside, too, but I live in a townhouse so no porch. I settle for a picnic table at the park. 🙂
I spent some time last weekend reading on the porch with a glass of fresh lemonade. It was great. See me intro and best practices
I like reading under the covers in bed too. No matter what time of day it is.
I love reading on the porch!
Someday I’d really like to attend Book Expo too, but it certainly wasn’t this year. 🙂
Reading on the porch sounds lovely, though it’s something I rarely do these days.
Great to meet you, Molly.
I love reading on the porch, too. My favorite part of summer!
Yes! Especially on the breezy days so not too hot!
I don’t have a porch (although I do enjoy reading in the park), but I’m definitely with you about curled up under a blanket. Particularly on a rainy weekend!
Yes!!!! Best reading time ever! Thanks for visiting
Such a cute blog, I love me some caffeinated coffee and my snuggle kitty. Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday. I’m a little slow catching up with everyone but have a nice week.
Aww thanks! It took many rebrands and redesigns but I finally have it just right! It’s perfect for me now 🙂 It’s nice to “meet” you!
If I had a great porch with good seating, I would also spend reading outside with iced tea… not until I have my dream house. XD
Thanks for stopping by!
Haha! Yea, our porch isn’t very big at all but it gets the job done when it comes to reading!
Thanks for coming by 🙂
I read seated in an armchair with the TV on in front of me. That way. my husband can watch TV while I read, and I won’t feel guilty for not doing what he is doing. At least we are in the same room.
Do any of you experience reading guilt? Feel like you should be doing something else besides doing what you like to do which is read? Sometimes I feel guilty and not merely when reading but when writing my novels too. Yes, I write books, and you can see all my covers if you visit my page at Amazon. https://bit.ly/mollynoblebull By the way, I also read in bed. But I write in front of my computer.
I love reading outdoors, too. I don’t have a porch, but the backyard is good for me. I haven’t tried any of your four favourite authors, but I’ve made a note of them to try 🙂
