Welcome to Stacking The Shelves!

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

It’s time for StS, a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I love these posts and missed a lot of weeks because of life issues getting in the way. But, my 2017 goal is to not let life get in the way anymore! I love blogging and sharing my love of books and what books I acquire along the way! As always, if there are links, click them to learn more!

I am having so much fun getting back into the books I started out with. They are so refreshing and inspiring! I can’t wait to read all the ones I’ve been acquiring! This week I acquired books from the library(NINE!!!!!) and also from LifeWay Christian Store. It’s my favoritest Christian bookstore EVER.

I love the coloring book! They are so relaxing and this one in particular is really inspiring. So beautiful! And of course, I had to get the Wanda Brunstetter Christmas book because duh! It’s Wanda Brunstetter. I’ve been a long time fan of RoseAnna M. White’s for many years now and I got book 1 in this series a couple weeks ago so I was excited to add that one to my shelves. Kelly Eileen Hake is a humorous author and I haven’t read anything of hers in a while so that one was a good find. Ted Dekker!! Oh my goodness, my dad and I LOVE his work so these were kind of a find for my husband(can’t wait to introduce him to him!), dad and I all to share. Now, let’s talk about the CD’s. The Casting Crowns CD was one of my first ever Christian CD’s years ago so finding this one on sale was special to me! I have missed their goodness. Many of you know that I mentioned in the past that my mother passed away almost three years ago. Well, her favorite group ever was The Statler Brothers, more specifically Jimmy Fortune from that group because he looks a lot like her brother, my uncle. This one was on sale and I was so excited to add it to my collection. I can listen to it and know that she is smiling down listening to him right along with me. Yes that is NINE books from the library! They all caught my eye and I couldn’t resist.

Tell me about y’all? What have you gotten on your shelves this week? Be sure and follow my blog!!! I’m gonna have some great giveaways coming up on the blog this summer.

  1. I love coloring books, too, Molly. I should really try to find the time to use mine more often. It is very relaxing and soothing.
Your new books look great! I haven’t read any Christian romances in a long time… I should take a look around and see if I find one I might enjoy.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  2. So many new books! I love it! I haven’t read any of these but it looks like you have a lot of awesome reading ahead of you. I will admit that I have yet to color in coloring book. Although, my friend did just recently send me one so that might all change.

  3. You have a great selection to start reading from. Julie Klassen is my favorite authors for Christian Romances, it’s been awhile since I’ve read any. I’ll have to look up some of the books you mentioned.

That is wonderful that you like listening to the same music you mother did 🙂

    • I’ve read Julie’s books before. She’s very talented. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you like my posts and that you find your next great read.

My mom had really good taste in music 🙂
