Welcome to Stacking The Shelves!

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

It’s time for StS, a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I love these posts and missed a lot of weeks because of life issues getting in the way. But, my 2017 goal is to not let life get in the way anymore! I love blogging and sharing my love of books and what books I acquire along the way! As always, click the links to learn more!

So, many of you know that (but some of you don’t and I’ll tell you now) my blog started out as a Christian Fiction/Clean Reads blog. I fell off the path of those reads when my mom passed away in 2014. I picked up a book she had gotten me before she passed away and I read it. I’ve missed these kinds of books. I’ll be reading them again! My #BookHaul this week has consisted of those amazing books I used to read. I love all of these authors and I’m excited to add them back to my collection. The Kevin E. Cropp book is a special to me because it’s actually written by my family member. He is my third cousin. The people he mentions as characters in the book are actually my other family members, too, along with places I’ve lived/personally been to. I loved the fact that I found it SIGNED at a USED bookstore! All of these except Mary Ellis’ book came from Edward McKay’s Used Books&More. The Mary Ellis book came courtesy of the author.

Tell me about y’all? What have you gotten on your shelves this week? Be sure and follow my blog!!! I’m gonna have some great giveaways coming up on the blog this summer.

You have some good books in those pictures. I loved The Ultimate Gift and Sunset In Old Savannah

    • The Ultimate Gift was one of my mom’s favorite books to read. I just finished Sunset In Old Savannah last evening and it was awesome! I want to read more like it.

I love to browse the shelves at our local used book store, Mr. K’s.

I had a former neighbor mention the Philip Gulley books to me, but I have never read any of them. Will be interested to know what you thinl.
