While she’s stalking the truth . . . someone is stalking her.
Psychology professor and criminal profiler Taylor Martin prides herself on being able to solve any crime, except the one she wants most desperately to solve–the disappearance of her father twenty years ago. When she finally has a lead on his whereabouts, Taylor returns home to Logan Point, Mississippi, to investigate. But as she works to uncover the truth, someone else will do almost anything to keep her from it.
Nick Sinclair pens mystery novels for a living, but the biggest mystery to him is how he can ever get over the death of his wife–a tragedy he believes he could have prevented. Now that his estranged brother is the only family he has left, Nick sets out to find him. But when he crosses paths with Taylor, all he seems to find is trouble.
Join the chase as Taylor and Nick search the murky shadows of the past for the keys to unlocking the present–and moving into a future they never imagined.
Molly’s Review:
Patricia Bradley’s first book in a new fabulous series is awesome. If I am reading a suspenseful novel , I want it to be one that will suck me so far into the story that I feel like the story is written around me. Ms. Bradley’s book definitely did that for me. I was nose deep into the center of the story, and following along with each twist and turn, each new development in the story, was a time I won’t soon forget.
Ms.Bradley chiseled Nick’s character perfectly. Full of concern for his brother, yet cautious about Taylor and his quick developing feelings for her, left him a tender heart in my heart. I loved him!
Taylor’s character is a sweet, yet determined one. She knew what she wanted…..to find the answers about her father leaving years ago…..but, during her search, she becomes the searched one. By the end of the story, I was on pins and needles waiting for the “who”!
This book was an intense one, and the good part? It’s the first in the new series and I can’t wait for the second to release! This 4 star book really hooked me and I am now a forever fan of Ms. Bradley’s work! Well done!

Glad to read a fab review on this one, Molly. It caught my eye way back when and though I skipped it for review due to other commitments, I will definitely be checking it out. 🙂
