Lori Wilde is one of my favorite authors. I love her gripping writing style. Her characters come to life and twist you up with them in their story. It’s a wild, fun, sexy ride for sure! A Cowboy For Christmas is an installment in her Jubilee Texas series and it was a wonderful holiday ride! I loved the story line and the passion that Ms. Wilde put into the story.

Rafferty Jones, oh my god, I want him! He was a sweet, passionate, caring cowboy and I wanted to wrap him up and bring him home for real. His character was wonderfully created and really touched me. The way he took to his nephew Kyle and the emotion that he showed towards Lissette was awesome.

Lissette Moncrief’s character was so full of inner turmoil and struggles! I felt them and wanted to cry for her on more than one occasion! Loosing her husband, learning her son is deaf, and the arrival of her mysteriously absent brother in law has set her world on a tilt and I loved watching her come to terms with it all. She really added a depth to the story and I wanted more from her!

And sweet Kyle. Oh my word, I wanted to wrap him up and hold him close. I have two boys, one who was born with a defect so I could totally sympathize with Lissette when she learned about Kyle. His sweet little toddler self was a beautiful addition to the story!

If you love Christmas novels, cowboys and spark flying romance, then you need to grab up this 5 Book worthy novel. While it’s part of Ms. Wilde’s awesome Jubilee series, it could be read as a stand alone title. I am looking forward to seeing what cowboy fun Ms. Wilde has in store for devoted fans next!
