Zoe Adams has always been content with her quiet nights at home, watching TV alone-until her life turns into a real-life episode of Unsolved Mystery Hunters. The story of a kidnapped girl triggers unexplained memories, and Zoe is dead-set on figuring out why. Her search leads her to one of the Lone Star State’s richest families-and to sexy PI Tyler Lopez.
Tyler has sworn off women, especially redheads with killer curves who poke their noses into his clients’ private lives. Still, he can’t deny the attraction any more than he can deny that some of Zoe’s crazy story makes sense. But when she becomes a hit man’s target, this cold case starts heating up. Suddenly, Tyler will do anything to protect Zoe-even risk his heart.

My Review:
Yeehaw ya’ll! Gotta love a sexy cowboy and they don’t come any hotter than Christie Craig’s Hotter In Texas cowboys! Loved this book as much as I adored book 1, ya’ll. Hey, I’m from North Carolina, so I can say ya’ll as much as they do in Texas….ya’ll ;-). Anyway, I absolutely loved this book. It’s filled with just the right amount of humor, passion and suspense. Each character comes complex but not over the top, and they all quickly work their way into your heart.
Zoe Adams has secrets from the past. Ones that make her unsure of who she really is, or where she really belongs. At least, she thinks she has secrets from the past that make her feel that way. But, then she meets a sexy PI named Tyler Lopez. Not sure if she’s making the right choice at all, but she’s desperate to find out if what she thinks is true, is really true. And, if she has a little fun along the way with the PI then so be it. But, can she really not fall in love?
PI Tyler Lopez has been burned by women. And he has plenty of personal family issues to keep him busy for the next 100 years. Then he sets his eyes on the gorgeous red head whose seeking out his help to find her missing puzzle pieces of life. Does he really want to take on her case? After spending some laughable moments with her, and seeing that someone is out to target her for killing, he dives into protection mode, willing to sacrifice anything to save her. Can he guard his heart from pain and heartache again? Or will he fall forever in love with Zoe Adams from the start?
Loved it! From laughs to suspense to some high flyin’ sparks of attraction, Ms. Craig has created a fantastic romp in the hay! With this book, you’ll find yourself quickly swept away to Texas, fallin’ in love with the towns, the characters, and the animals…yes, even the animals! I definitely recommend this 5 Book worthy novel, along with the first installment, Only In Texas, where you’ll find yourself at the end of the books before you even know. I am anxiously awaiting the third installment in this series for more fun-loving, sexy swaggering PI’s and the women they love!
