Rome:
McCabe and Chip, two American exchange students, are about to become embroiled with a violent street gang, a beautiful Italian girl, and a flawed kidnapping plan.

Detroit:
Sharon Vanelli’s affair with Joey Palermo, a Mafia enforcer, is about to be discovered by her husband, Ray, a secret service agent.

Brilliantly plotted and shot through with wry humor, ALL HE SAW WAS THE GIRL sees these two narratives collide in the backstreets of Italy’s oldest city.

My Review:
Almost from the start, Leonard packs the punch with suspense in this awesome new story! With two sides of the world colliding, Leonard takes his fans on a suspenseful journey of finding out the why’s and who’s of the story, keeping the reader engrossed until the last page is once again reached!

Leonard introduces us to McCabe and Chip, Americans going to school in Italy. One, a senator’s son, the other from a lower class of people having to earn their way through school in stead of having it handed to them. Trouble arises and these two are in jail, meeting none other than some classic mafia characters. A truly awesome element, of course. After all you are in Italy….can’t have a story based in Italy with the mafia!

When they are released from jail, there is a mix up and all hell breaks loose! When they think they are rescuing a girl in need of help, it’s actually all a set up. To kidnap the senator’s son for ransom money. What they smart mafia men didn’t know was, they grabbed the wrong guy! Mistaken identity at it’s finest! From then on it’s chases and twists, cheating wives (can’t leave out the mafia man stateside and the secret service agent’s very bored wife!) and turns that will leave you on the edge of your seat and white knuckling your eReader or book.

If you love the amazing elements of fast-paced crime and roller coaster ups and downs, then I highly recommend you grab a copy of this 5 Book worthy novel by a superbly talented author. Mr. Leonard is always bring something fresh and new to his readers; each book completely different yet very much alike in the writing style! Grab a copy of this book now and sit back for the ride of your life! Incredibly awesome, Mr. Leonard! Can’t wait for the next!
