About the Author:
Prudence Bice has loved writing her entire life. Born in Orange County, California, one of eleven children, she always felt drawn to stories that spoke and enkindled her romantic heart. Having overcome tragedy in her own life, inspiration for her first novel was spark by her desire to ignite true romantics everywhere with a wholesome, feel good story about the power of love, rising above the pain and suffering from loss and circumstance.
She resides in St. George, Utah with her husband Ray and their five children, four daughters and one son. Her hobbies include drawing, photography, music, writing, and of course reading anything she can get her hands on! Currently she is majoring in English at Dixie Sate College and loving it. The future is bright, she says, every day I wake up with a prayer in my heart and story in my head. I never thought life could be so good!
Prudence Bice just became my new favorite author! She is talented in so many ways, from creating fabulous characters, to a historical setting, to an incredibly gripping plot line. I am so happy to have had the chance to read this soon-to-be released book!
Georgiana is just 13 when she and her best friend Ridge Carson are under the town’s kissing tree. She’s leaving town with her family to head to New York. But, she has just one thing to do before she leaves……kiss Ridge. So, she steals that first kiss with her best friend, leaves and doesn’t for one minute forget the feeling of kissing Ridge. Now she’s back to help her granddad and seeing Ridge again, handsome and helping out, well, she just can’t get over that first kiss. Problem is, he’s not a kid anymore and she’s got a beau named Dawson back in New York who wants to marry her. How can they be so near each other and not remember that kiss?
With just the right amount of sparks and romance, and just the right amount of humor mixed in, this one fantastic read! I loved the interaction between the characters and the plot line that instantly sucks you into the heart of the story. You’re swept away to another place in time and you become the characters, and feel their emotions through out the story.
I highly recommend this new book from Ms. Bice! You’ll fall in love with her writing style and find yourself among a new set of fun loving friends with this 5 Book worthy read. I can’t wait to see what else Ms. Bice has in store for her new found fans, starting with her current release, The Widower’s Wife.
