About the Author:
Lorna Graham was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from Barnard College. She has written for Good Morning America and Dateline NBC. She also wrote a short film, “A Timeless Call,” honoring America’s military veterans, that was directed by Steven Spielberg. She lives in Greenwich Village.

What a fantastic read! Lorna Graham captured me from the beginning and held me captive by Eve and the ghost of Donald, creating a fun and enjoyable summer read. It was well thought out, the characters were believable and the ghost added a unique twist to this finding your self novel.Eve leaves home, unaccustomed to life on her own, in search of Greenwich Village, the childhood home of her deceased mother. She settles in the Village into an apartment with a surprise. Yep. A surprise in her apartment. That surprise in none other than the beatnik writer, Donald…..who happens to be a ghost! This really made for an interesting bit of twists in the plot, especially when Eve lands a job as a talk show host! Between Eve, trying to face her past and live for herself in this haunted apartment, and Donald, the precarious ghost who needs Eve’s help finishing what he started, well, I really fell in love with this debut novel.
It took me by complete surprise, that’s for sure. Lorna Graham has the talent of a seasoned author. She created her characters with unique and witty personalities, and used wonderful plot lines to keep the story filled with entertainment.
I highly, highly recommend this with the highest of 5 star praise! It’s a great read for that end-of-summer family vacation, or that late-night-can’t-sleep-gotta-read book. It will keep you turning the pages, and cheering for Eve as she adjusts to life living with a ghost. Great job, Lorna! Can’t wait for another unique and entertaining novel!
