About the Book:
The New York Times bestselling author of The Girl Who Chased the Moon welcomes you to her newest locale: Walls of Water, North Carolina, where the secrets are thicker than the fog from the town’s famous waterfalls, and the stuff of superstition is just as real as you want it to be.

It’s the dubious distinction of thirty-year-old Willa Jackson to hail from a fine old Southern family of means that met with financial ruin generations ago. The Blue Ridge Madam—built by Willa’s great-great-grandfather during Walls of Water’s heyday, and once the town’s grandest home—has stood for years as a lonely monument to misfortune and scandal. And Willa herself has long strived to build a life beyond the brooding Jackson family shadow. No easy task in a town shaped by years of tradition and the well-marked boundaries of the haves and have-nots.

But Willa has lately learned that an old classmate—socialite do-gooder Paxton Osgood—of the very prominent Osgood family, has restored the Blue Ridge Madam to her former glory, with plans to open a top-flight inn. Maybe, at last, the troubled past can be laid to rest while something new and wonderful rises from its ashes. But what rises instead is a skeleton, found buried beneath the property’s lone peach tree, and certain to drag up dire consequences along with it.

For the bones—those of charismatic traveling salesman Tucker Devlin, who worked his dark charms on Walls of Water seventy-five years ago—are not all that lay hidden out of sight and mind. Long-kept secrets surrounding the troubling remains have also come to light, seemingly heralded by a spate of sudden strange occurrences throughout the town.

Now, thrust together in an unlikely friendship, united by a full-blooded mystery, Willa and Paxton must confront the dangerous passions and tragic betrayals that once bound their families—and uncover truths of the long-dead that have transcended time and defied the grave to touch the hearts and souls of the living.

Resonant with insight into the deep and lasting power of friendship, love, and tradition, The Peach Keeper is a portrait of the unshakable bonds that—in good times and bad, from one generation to the next—endure forever.

My Review:
Let me take just a second or two to reflect and breathe. Okay. Now, first let me say, that Sarah Allen Addison is FANTASTIC! This book, in my opinion, is the BEST book I have EVER read. I was so happy that I was invited to be a part of this blog tour. I started this book on a Saturday and had it finished by Sunday night, it was just THAT captivating. The characters, the plot, the atmosphere that the book brings with it is so wonderful. Being from North Carolina myself, I felt at home with this novel.

From page one, I was taken into the story’s wings. I was taken on the whirl wind, roller coaster of emotions ride, along side the characters. Willa, Colin, Paxton, Sebastian, and even Agatha and Georgie, all worked their way deep into my heart to stay forever. I read their stories, and the skills that the author has, and became  the characters. I was so deeply involved with what I felt for this novel and the characters, I actually, at some points, forgot that I was simply reading a book.

This story is unique, in that each character had a flaw; be it a secret, be it an attitude, or simply being a joker, yet each one had feelings. This story is about those feelings and so much more. It’s about the TRUE meaning of friendship. It’s about seeing each other, AND ourselves, for who we are, not what others EXPECT us to be. It’s a thought provoking story that will stay with you long after you have read about the mysterious peach keeper, that turned Walls of Water, North Carolina into a frenzied town; long after you have seen the ending and take a deep breath from the impact and meaning this story has on it’s readers.

If you are like me and have never read a Sarah Allen Addison book before, please get a copy of The Peach Keeper and start there. This beyond 5 star worthy book will leave your mesmerized at the beautiful combination of mystery, flaws, humor, and emotions that creates this book, and leave you hungry for more from this FANTABULOUS author. I definitely recommend this novel to everyone. I am going to go back and read more of Ms. Addison’s past work, as well as, look for future novels.
