About the Book:
If I…I will: simple words, but do we ever move past the “ifs” in our lives? Do we know in our hearts and minds that God indeed will help us to achieve our dreams and goals? If I…I Will is an insightful look at the healing of the suffering woman in Mark 5 whom Jesus healed. And just like that suffering woman, we must step past our suffering, the words we may hear, our own thoughts, and the crowds around us to reach for Jesus. What if we reach Jesus? Will He change our lives forever? Will He heal us? Yes, indeed! Maybe Jesus won’t follow the way we envision the healing or the change to happen, but faith in Jesus will forever change us. So, step out and reach for Jesus’ hand, and begin the adventure of a lifetime.

My Review:
When I first received this quaint little book, I thought to myself “ANOTHER little devotional book to add to my quickly growing stack. Not that there is anything wrong with devotionals, mind you. I’m just running out of room to store them! But, once I sat down to read through this-it’s tiny so it’s an easy read-I was so glad to add it to that stack.

Debbie Sutton Covington really put a punch into this little book. She takes a scripture, Mark 5, and truly breaks it down into a form that is deep and easily understood. Debbie adds quotes from various famous people about different kinds of suffering. She points out, through personal experiences and scripture references, that no matter what kind of suffering you may be going through, IF you just reach out to Jesus, you WILL be okay. He WILL help you through it.

Whether you, or someone you may know, may be suffering from something-be it physical or psychological- this is a 5 star book that will help you through that time. If Debbie Sutton Covington writes more books like this one, I will read each and every one of them!
