ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Alice J. Wisler is an author, public speaker, advocate, and fundraiser. She has been a guest on several radio and TV programs to promote her self-published cookbooks, Slices of Sunlight and Down the Cereal Aisle. She graduated from Eastern Mennonite University and has traveled the country in jobs that minister to people. Alice was raised in Japan and currently resides in Durham, North Carolina.

ABOUT THE BOOK
There are two things twenty-nine-year-old Jackie Donovan asks God for: an honest, wonderful man to marry, and to own a bed-and-breakfast in the Outer Banks region. My Review:
This book was UHmazing! That’s right. UHmazing! This book, Hatteras Girl, is the first book by this sweet and lovely lady (I got to meet her two weeks ago and she is just the sweetest!) and definitely NOT the last. This is a book that will be forever on my bookshelf AND in my heart. One thing that gripped me about this novel is, it’s plot is set in my home state here in North Carolina. All the places that she mentions in this book, are places that I have been to, live 15 minutes from or have friends who travel there quite often. It was VERY cool to read a novel and say, oh my gosh, that’s 15 minutes out the road!
