About the Author:
Cheryl Malandrinos is a freelance writer and editor. A regular contributor for Writer2Writer, her articles focus on increasing productivity through time management and organization. A founding member of Musing Our Children, Ms. Malandrinos is also Editor in Chief of the group’s quarterly newsletter, Pages & Pens.
Cheryl is a Tour Coordinator for Pump Up Your Book, a book reviewer, and blogger. Little Shepherd is her first children’s book. Ms. Malandrinos lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband and two young daughters. She also has a son who is married.

My Review:
I was tickled to sign up to review this children’s book. With two young sons I LOVE a good children’s story! Not only did it have a fascinating plot for children, the illustrations for both the cover, and the entire story, were fabulous. They went well with the story line that Ms. Malandrinos was portraying through out her amazing words. The pictures really portrayed the beautiful characters perfectly.
This children’s book is very captivating. I’m certainly not a child but I loved everything about this adorable book. Both my 6 year old and my 8 year old sons were in awe of the illustrations and the message behind the story.
What I liked most about this storybook is that it’s easy to read for children. Some of the children’s books now-a-days are a bit too detailed and the younger children struggle with them. Ms. Malandrino’s work is not like that. My 6 and 8 year old’s can both read this and understand the message behind the story. Well done, Ms. Malandrinos!
If you have a young reader in your life, this 5 star children’s book would make the perfect Christmas gift for them. Or, if you are looking for a new storybook for a Christmas family tradition, then add Cheryl Malandrino’s wonderful new book to that tradition! Two thumbs up for a fabulous job well done!
