My Review:
I have read many books by Terri Blackstock and have become a big fan of hers over the years, when I turn to Christian Suspense books. When I came across the chance to review a book by her that I hadn’t read yet, I jumped on it. I am super happy that I did, too! WOW! She is most definitely a Queen of Christian Suspense! She is seasoned in every aspect of writing a novel, from the first page to the hook of the story to the very thrilling and riveting last page! TREMENDOUS!
Private Justice is thrilling. It’s captivating. It’s full of faith-bound characters that are life like and intriguing. The rush of suspense, blended with the characters Mark and Allie and their wavering faith in times of crisis is phenomenal! I am trying to decide what I liked most about this novel…the wonderful message of fully relying on God and surrendering to His will, or the amazing, blood pumping thrill of the suspense. Both lend so much flavor to this book and make it appealing to the reader. You’re instantly thrown into the scenes of the book and feel every emotion of a rocky marriage that Mark and Allie are forced to deal with. You can feel their pain and heartache and you route for them to keep believing and have the faith that only God can provide. Love this feeling!
