My Review:
Wow! I knew Brandilyn to be a superbly awesome suspense author for adult books, but man! Can she and her daughter Amberly really rock it with a YA series! The plot, the characters, the message-all of it- is fantastic and full of depth and thrills.
This book, Final Touch, is the 3rd and final addition to the Rayne Tour series, and while I highly wish I read the first two books, I wasn’t confused at any of the references to things that may have happened in book 1 or 2. To me, that’s evidence of a seasoned author! I really loved everything about this book, from unique and amazing characters to edge-of-your-seat, gripping suspense. Rayne and Gary are wonderful characters, but my favorite one and the one my pounding heart went out to the most was Shaley. She went through so much in this story & her reliance on God, while sometimes wavering, went deep! I couldn’t put it down even if I wanted to-which I did not! I had to keep feeling the adrenaline rush and pulse pumping thrills of Shaley’s story.
I, without a doubt, believe that this 5 star worthy YA novel fits right in with Collin’s seatbelt suspense titles. I highly recommend this book to all teens who may or may not have ever read a suspense! The twists and turns are gripping and awesome!
