My Review:
As you all have seen in my past reviews, I am not a huge fantasy fan. I just have a hard time with my attention staying focused on the “fakey” aspects of the stories. BUT, as with one other fantasy novel I have read, I highly, highly enjoyed reading Caprice’s first book in her trilogy, The Dukes Handmaid.
From the beginning I was captured. I stayed focused on the story throughout. The character’s Caprice created were outstanding, and really came alive to me, as I became engrossed in this wonderful Christian love story. I am not going to go into super long detail about Keedrina and the Duke, for fear of giving away spoilers, but I will say that Caprice really knew how to blend fantasy, love, God and drama so that the story didn’t become boring.
So, whether you are a fantasy lover, a Christian lover, or just want some great reading, I recommend that you grab a copy of Caprice’s 4 star worthy The Dukes Handmaid. If you haven’t braved the realm of fantasy books yet, then this book is the perfect place to start. It’s wonderful and amazingly written books like these that can convert a non-fantasy lover into a fantasy lover! Thanks, Caprice, for converting me with your wonderful talent!
