About the Book:

The Tides of Truth series follows one lawyer’s passionate pursuit of truth–in matters of life and the law.
As the storm clouds gather, Tami does her best to weather the growing turbulence in every area of her life.
She’s just accepted a job with a law firm but now wonders if she made the right decision. She has two strong men vying for her heart–and is about to lose them both if she can’t determine which one is right for her.
And Tami’s new case is anything but simple. When she first meets her prospective client, she immediately knows the rough young teen is lying, guilty…and utterly terrified of something beyond the charges she’s facing. What she doesn’t realize is just how far reaching the effects of the case will go. Or how close to home the deadly results will hit. For by the time the storm breaks, someone close to Tami will have paid the ultimate price.
Through it all, Tami will experience greater sacrifice, greater friendship, and greater love than she’s ever known.

My Review:
Okay…this is the first book by this author, Robert Whitlow and I am a little off on this book, but not enough to not like it!  I can’t complain that it is not a good book with spiritual values, because it does have that. I think I was more or less confused through out this book because I hadn’t read the first two books in this particular series.

That being said, I would say that this has a good message of dealing with spiritual issues. It isn’t your typical legal mystery novel, nor is it a normal romance novel. There is no passionate scenes or detailed dialog about passion, rather there is talk about courting someone (in opposed to dating) . That in itself is a plus with this novel! I was pleased that, though there were times I was a bit confused, the author knew what to write in order to capture the reader. I liked the messages portrayed through out and issues that the characters had to seek God on and learn that with Him there is no greater love. With His love, there is TRUE love. Amazingly done, Whitlow!

I do however, think that, while this book is a good book spiritually, it is best if read with the other two in this series. I feel this book deserves a 4 star praise for both the quality of the book as well as the author’s talent to draw his readers in. Whitlow definitely has a new fan in me and I will be looking for more books from him, as well as, reading the first two books in this series!
