My Review:
Karen Kingsbury has been given the name Queen of Christian Fiction and I must totally agree with that name for her. The very fist Christian Fiction book that change my life was when I read her book Redemption. I will never forget the feeling of God’s arms around me as I say reading her book. So, that is why I have one book shelf completely dedicated to her books, which I own every one she has written! That’s ALOT of books. It includes this book….book 1 in her Above The Line series. This series follows along the lines of Baxter family series, which include peeks into the lives of the family alot of America have grown to love.

In this story, however, we are introduced to a whole new set of characters who struggle with issues in their lives but learn to fully rely on God in the process. I will not get into a lot of detail about what the story is completely about as I am always afraid of giving away spoilers, but I will say that this book has a wonderful message of forgiveness, redemption, trust and strong faith. It has a story line that captures your from the beginning with characters (Keith,Chase and even Andi) who become family. You get the feeling of coming home again, even though the Baxter family isn’t the main source of characters used. I absolutely loved everything about this book!

I highly recommend that you read Take One,a 5 star book worth many praises! There are four books total for this Above The Line Series, and like with the Baxter family series (Redemption series and Firstborn series), they should be read in order! Just be prepared to have tissues handy and to fall in love with Indiana and these wonderful friends!

You can purchase your copy here.

*I purchased this book for my own collection*
