She holds a Master of Arts in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, is a former Vice President of American Christian Fiction Writers, and currently serves as President of Middle Tennessee Christian Writers. She loves action movies and British costume dramas; and when she’s not writing, she enjoys knitting scarves and “lap blankets” (she’s a master of the straight-line knit and purl stitches!). Kaye lives in Nashville, Tennessee, and even though she writes romance novels, she is not afraid to admit that she’s never been kissed.
My Review:
I’ve read one other book by Kaye Dacus & loved it, so was excited to get this book from a dear friend to read. This one did not disappoint either! I loved it just as much as the other one I had read. It’s a riveting Christian historical that draws you in, grips your heart, and has you laughing, praying, and maybe a little crying mixed in.
The story is filled with lots of great characters that work their way into your heart as soon as you start reading. Julia quickly weaves her way through the pages and straight into your heart. My mother instincts kicked in with her through out the book, knowing she didn’t have one of her own. I loved that feeling! And William….tsk tsk….I wanted to yell at him in the beginning of the story but by the end, I was rather sweetly surprised!
So my suggestion to you is this: READ RANSOME’S HONOR! It’s a light, easy read that is full of God’s love, heartache and forgiveness. Definitely a 5 star rating in my book!
