About the Book:
Fire up your love of romance with Montana Rose, where Cassie Griffin, a seemingly spoiled pregnant woman, is widowed one day and wedded the next. Marrying handyman Red Dawson seems the only alternative to Cassie’s being hitched to a brutal rancher. But can this “china doll” bear exchanging smooth silk for coarse calico? Red was reluctant to be yoked to an unbeliever, but sometimes a man has no choice. Will Red change Cassie’s heart by changing her name? Wade Sawyer is obsessed with saving Cassie from a marriage of convenience. How far will he go make her his own?
About the Author:
Mary Connealy is an author, journalist, and teacher. She lives on a Nebraska farm with her husband, Ivan, and has four mostly grown daughters. If you hunt hard enough, you can find Mary on the Internet like a middle-aged, female “Where’s Waldo” at www.maryconnealy.com .
My Review:
Mary Connealy brings us Montana Rose, book 1 in the Montana Marriages series and let me tell you, I didn’t know whether or not to laugh or cry, so I did both! Mary’s talent is blessedly amazing. She uses humor, heartache, sweet characters and God’s wonderful love to create an incredible soul capturing story.
From page 1, Mary had me hooked. There was absolutely NO turning back from these new friends. I was right beside Cassie and Red, praying with and for them, I was there beside Cassie as she was learning the truth about God and marriage and love.I was right beside Red, too, as he showed tender patience with Cassie and what it means to have a Godly husband. Everything about this book was FANTASTIC!!!
Can I give this book 105 stars??? I so wish I could. Since I can’t, though, I will give it the highest of 5 stars, two thumbs up, kudos and everyother kind of praises there are! Mary Connealy has just become my newest favorite author, and her romantic comedy with cowboys and God will recommended by me to everyone!
