About the Author:

My Review:
Breath-takingly wonderful! The Daughters of Jacob Kane just got better! Maggie Rose jumps right into Maggie’s story almost right where Hannah Grace left off. The first page, again, captured me completely with MacLaren’s seasoned writing.
In Maggie Rose, I absolutely loved all the characters. I didn’t like one more than another….each one found a special place in my heart and really gripped it. The story created this bubble around me and made me feel such a part of the story. I learned so much from Maggie Rose about following God’s will no matter what other’s may say, and I learned from all the sweet “street Arabs”, or orphans, about how to be strong, no matter what happens in life, even if you are alone. I learned from Luke, too. I learned to let go of the past, no matter how painful or difficult it may be and focus on the future while leaning on God’s love. Wow!!!
While Sharlene MacLaren incorporated humor, God, love and family into this 5 star book, I got a big lesson out of it, like God used Shar’s characters as my angels with a message. Thank you, Shar! Please don’t hesitate to read Maggie Rose. You will grow to love Jacob’s daughters as much as I have. I am highly anxious to start on Abbie Ann, the conclusion to the Daughters of Jacob Kane and it will be bittersweet, as I love all these beautiful characters so much!
