ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Robin Lee Hatcher discovered her vocation as a novelist after many years of reading everything she could put her hands on, including the backs of cereal boxes and ketchup bottles. The winner of the Christy Award for Excellence in Christian Fiction (Whispers from Yesterday), the RITA Award for Best Inspirational Romance (Patterns of Love and The Shepherd’s Voice), two RT Career Achievement Awards (Americana Romance and Inspirational Fiction), and the RWA Lifetime Achievement Award, Robin is the author of over 50 novels, including Catching Katie, named one of the Best Books of 2004 by the Library Journal.

Robin enjoys being with her family, spending time in the beautiful Idaho outdoors, reading books that make her cry, and watching romantic movies. She is passionate about the theater, and several nights every summer, she can be found at the outdoor amphitheater of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, enjoying Shakespeare under the stars. She makes her home outside of Boise, sharing it with Poppet the high-maintenance Papillon

ABOUT THE BOOK

It’s 1918, and Daphne McKinley, heiress to a small fortune, has found contentment in the town of Bethlehem Springs, Idaho. But Daphne has a secret.

A series of dime novels loosely based on local lore and featuring a nefarious villain known as Rawhide Rick has enjoyed modest popularity among readers. Nobody in Bethlehem Springs knows the man behind the stories … except Daphne.

When newspaperman Joshua Crawford comes to town searching for the man who sullied the good name of his grandfather, Daphne finds herself at a crossroads, reassessing the power of her words, re-thinking how best to honor her gifts, and reconsidering what she wants out of life.

Robin is conducting a contest for the new book. Join in the fun HERE.

My Review:
This is a perfectly sweet conclusion to the Sisters of Bethlehem Springs, though I didn’t want it to end! Book 3 jumps into the story of Daphne, Cleo and Gwen’s sister-in-law. And, as she has with all her previous books and is sure to do with her future stories, Robin Lee Hatcher shows her beautiful work of a blessedly seasoned author.

As with book 1 and 2, this book is full of family, humor, love and God’s unending guidance. We see all the wonderfully created old characters of Daphne, Morgan, Gwen, Cleo and Woody, but we are introduced to a few new ones in this ending, such as D.B. Morgan (hehehe!) and Rawhide Rick, not to mention the wonderful character of Joshua Crawford, who adds the perfect amount of depth to this charming book. I just didn’t want this series to end. These beautiful families and friends became a part of me, so much so that I felt like the mother hen wanting to protect them all! I wanted to treasure the feeling I had during my “visit” to Bethlehem Springs and the movement of God I saw there. With the added bonus of a BIG secret there is a touch of mystery to the story.

While this story is not confusing, nor was book 1 or 2, and they can be read as stand alone titles, I feel that you will have a better experience reading this story if you read it in order of this amazing 5 star series. With that being said, this is definitely a 5 star, inspiring story that I think everyone will enjoy. So, what are you waiting for? Don’t you want to find out what the BIG secret is that Daphne has? Grab a copy today and find out! And while you here, check out the contest that Robin’s having!
