About the Book:
The FBI has a secret weapon. But now the secret’s out.
When missing teens begin turning up dead in a small Southern town, the FBI sends in Special Agent Samantha Cash to help crack the case. Her methods are invisible, and she never quits until the case is closed.
Homicide detective Connor Wolfe has his hands full. His relationship with his headstrong daughter is in a tailspin, and the string of unsolved murders has the town demanding answers. Connor is running out of ideas–and time.
Samantha joins Connor in a race against the clock to save the next victim. And the killer starts to get personal.
Too Close to Home ratchets up the suspense with each page even as love blossoms in the face of danger. Read this one with the lights on!

My Review:
I absolutely, positively recommend that you read this book in Lynette Eason’s new series, Women of Justice! She did a wonderful job on this one. I have only read one other book by Lynette and that was one of her Love Inspired books. Lynette has truly awesome talent at writing!
I was captured from page one, drawn in completely, and wasn’t let go til the very, very last page! The ending took me totally by surprise! That made it a great suspense book. This story is filled with so much of so many different things, it really kept me focused. There’s heartache, mystery, twists, romance, friendships and most of all, God and His everlasting love for those of us who don’t quite believe in Him.
The plot of this story is an important one that I think alot of parents of teenagers would benefit from reading this story. It’s about online predators and disappearing teenagers. I also feel that this would be a great eye opener for teens to read as well. The characters become so real that it’s like you are right there beside them. The messages woven between the lines are fantastic.
As with some of the other crime/suspense novels I’ve been reading as of late, this book is also something that is truly so much better than the FBI and CSI shows on TV. It’s cleaner and it’s more entertaining! I couldn’t put the book down and when I did have to force myself to put the book down, I couldn’t wait to pick it back up and get back into the emotional twists and turns this book provided. Again, I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone, adults and teens, with 5 star praise and two thumbs up! I am super anxious for the Women of Justice’s second to release,Don’t Look Back!
