About the Author:
Kim Wright has been writing about travel, food, and wine for more than twenty years for many magazines including Wine Spectator, Self, Travel & Leisure, and Vogue, and has twice won the Lowell Thomas Award for travel writing. She is the food and wine editor for Charlotte Taste. She has written the annual Fodor’s Walt Disney World with Kids for 18 years and also writes erotica. This is her first novel. Kim lives in Charlotte, NC.
My Review:
On a whole, I enjoyed this book. Having gone through a divorce myself, I could totally relate to things that Elyse was feeling and struggling with. When you read a novel, especially one with the word Love in the title, you are going to expect a lot of sappy romance stuff, however, while this book does have love in it, it’s far from sappy. It’s about trying to find your happiness, and taking risks and knowing whether or not taking those risks are worth losses. While this wouldn’t have been a book that I would have normal bought had I picked it up in a bookstore, I was pleased enough with this book to recommend it to others, especially those who are going through divorces or dealing with confusion on taking risks to be happier in life.
The author shows tremendous talent and I believe that there will be many more great books from her! Both the author and the book deserve a 4 star praise!
