About the Book:
The Voice™ is the product of the best minds in this emerging generation of Christian leaders. Together they are helping young people fall in love with the Scriptures. Instead of confining God’s Word in the framework of biblical criticism, The Voice™ highlights the beauty of God’s communication to His people. In The Voice™, the voice of God is heard as clearly as when He first revealed His truth. This is the first-ever complete New Testament in The Voice™ translation. Writers include Chris Seay, Lauren Winner, Brian McLaren, Greg Garrett, David B. Capes, and others.

My Review:
I’m not just a book lover, I am also a Bible lover. So I jumped at the opportunity to review Thomas Nelson/’s New Testament Bible, The Voice. And I am glad that I did. Many people have given this Bible 1-3 stars for various reasons, while a few have given it 4-5 stars. I am in the “few” category and am giving it 4 stars. It is geared toward young people, however, I think everyone who reads the Bible would benefit from this great new experience!

This Bible is put together in an easy to read way. It is laid out in a way that you can feel the as though you are there hearing the things that Jesus is saying and hear what the people are saying to Him.There are reference points to show you where you can go in the Bible and compare the stories of the Bible. The formation of The Voice is drawn up in a way that is like reading a script to a movie, with the names of who said what beside it.

While I highly recommend The Voice to all those Bible collectors out there, I don’t recommend it to new Christians who are looking for an everyday Bible. This is a wonderful new style to the New Testament and would be great for Bible Studies and references. Again, I highly enjoyed this Bible and am giving it a 4 star rating, and high praises to the contributing writers, such as David B. Capes, Alison Thomas, Matthew Paul Turner, and many more.
