About the Book:
Sadie Spencer has learned that in life, as well as in food, sour balances sweet. Returning to her hometown of Hershey with a five-year-old daughter, she manages to rise from the ashes following the death of her husband, the passing of her mother, and the dissolution of her career as a TV chef. With the help and encouragement of her best friend, Jasper, she opens a restaurant and looks forward to savoring the sweet side of life. That is, until a handsome Russian entrepreneur arrives in town, apparently intent on opening up his own restaurant in direct competition to hers. Sadie becomes obsessed with honing the one skill she’s never had—creating desserts—to keep up with her adversary, and in the process, she finds a love that’s simply icing on the cake.

My Review:
This book was absolutely delicious! I loved everything about this book: it’s cover, it’s characters, it’s themes….all of it. I truely didn’t want it to end!
I loved all the characters in this book, from Sadie to Jasper to Kylie and Aunt Matilda….Aunt Matilda, bless her heart…she’s adorable! But my absolute favorite character in here is Sadie’s best friend, Jasper. He wants to be so much more than her best friend if Sadie will just let him! He is such a sweet character (no pun intended!) and his heart and love for God really shined in this fabulous story.
Cerella’s writing ability is just outstanding. She captured the town of Hershey, PA in such a way that I know I gained atleast 10 pounds from all the mouth watering smells and tastes that the describes!!! MMMM….delicious chocolate!!!
This was a wonderful, easy read and the characters will be with me for a long time to come. This book is a true must read for EVERYONE! I will be recommending this book with 5 star praises to any one who wants a God filled, witty, fun loving romance story! But I want to end my review with a question for Cerella…..when will Hershey part 2 be released? LoL! =)
