My Review:
I highly enjoyed reading this book and think that alot of young women, typically high schoolers, would both benefit and enjoy reading Sophie’s story. Melody Carlson has an awesome talent in writing stories that entertain ,as well as, teach powerful lessons of God’s love and His fogiveness.

Anything But Normal touches on a strong topic in today’s society among teenage girls(no details as I don’t want to give spoilers!). It also graces the subjects of judgement and friendship. Above all those, however, this story captures the fact that no one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, but if we seek God’s redeeming love, we will be forgiven.

Through out this story, all the characters tugged at my heart, but Sophie was the one that drew me into the story the most. I laughed with her, cried with and for her, and prayed for her. This is most definitely a wonderfully written, 5 star young adult book that I recommend to all young women!
