My Review:
I wasn’t fortunate enought to read book 1 in the Homelander Series, but I did take the time to look up a bit about book 1 and was impressed with what I read.
Book 2, The Long Way Home, continues book 1’s character, Charlie West’s story. In book 2, he is a wanted person. He doesn’t remember anything about his friend’s death. And he can’t forget about a love he once had. Book 2 is a captivating thriller that is great for teenage books. Although, I must admit, that I am not a teenage boy but I still loved reading this! I got this book today and was captivated by it so much that I was half way through in less than an hour! Definitely good reading material!
Not only is this book a great thriller that will keep kids’ heart racing and on the edge of their seats it keeps them focused on God, too. Another plus for me!
Andrew Klavan did an outstanding job on this book! He shows a strong talent with his ability to create a story and capture and hold the reader’s attention til the end. I am very pleased with his work for teenagers and would highly recommend this book to all who have teenagers or to those who know a teenager and likes thrillers. I give this book a 4 star rating and two thumbs up!!
