About the Book:
A calculating killer who calls himself The Teacher is taking on New York City, killing the powerful and the arrogant. His message is clear: remember your manners or suffer the consequences! For some, it seems that the rich are finally getting what they deserve. For New York’s elite, it is a call to terror.
Only one man can tackle such a high-profile case: Detective Mike Bennett. The pressure is enough for anyone, but Mike also has to care for his 10 children-all of whom have come down with virulent flu at once!
Discovering a secret pattern in The Teacher’s lessons, Detective Bennett realizes he has just hours to save New York from the greatest disaster in its history. From the #1 bestselling author comes RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, the continuation of his newest, electrifying series.

My Review:
Believe it or not, this is the first James Patterson or Michael Ledwidge book that I have ever read. Let me tell you this: for non-Christian fiction, I am hooked!
This book was fun to read! It is an easy read full of twists and turns, making it a page turner! I literally read this book in one night. You can see the killer’s way of thinking almost from the beginning, and that, mixed with the humor that Patterson and Ledwidge add to it, you will be laughing til your crying and on the edge of your seat with the suspense!
The one and only thing that I would change about this book is the language. Because James Patterson is such a talented author and I could see that in this book, I over look the language.
This is the second book in a series, and I, unfortunately did not get to read the first book. However, from what I have done research on, I don’t think these books would need to be read in any particular order…they are good as a series or stand alones. But all in all, I rate this book with 4 stars and two thumbs and recommend it to all the Patterson fans out there! And I recommend it to all those who haven’t read a Patterson book before….it will get you hooked!!
