About the Book:
In the hustle and bustle of today’s busy world, sometimes it’s hard enough to hear yourself think, much less take a minute to stop and listen for the voice of God. But learning to recognize God’s voice and the many ways in which He speaks is vital for following His plan. This devotional; drawing from How to Hear From God, Knowing God Intimately, and The Power Of Simple Prayer shows the reader through a daily reminder, how God speaks through their own thoughts and feelings, their dreams, and the words of other people.

My Mini Review:
I can not give my normal review of this book at this time, as this is a devotional that has to be read for a whole year. So, at this time, I am going to post a mini review.
I have always heard good things about Joyce Meyer, and since starting this devotional book, I have to agree with what I have seen and read about her. In this devotional she gives a scripture verse at the beginning of each day, and ends the devotional with God’s word for the day. So far, when I wake up and read it, she hits home each time. This is definitely a book that I would pass on to others or recommend to someone! 5 stars to Joyce Meyer! (I will conclude this review at the end of the year).

Sounds like a wonderful book. I’ve been looking for a good devotional. I love Joyce Meyers, I’m reading her Love Revolution right now. God has done wonders in my life recently. I felt myself going into a depression then I won Joshua Harris’ Dug Down Deep. Reading this book along with Love Revolution has helped me to refocus from myself and to God. Each day that I read, it’s reinforced by something in my life. I’m truly thankful to God for this!!

I would love to read this book by Joyce Meyer, it sounds like a great devotional. I am so happy to give a praise report about my family and restored relationships during the holidays. Many thought it was impossible, but with God … all things are possible.

Sounds like a great book! What God has done for me recently is get me to keep in touch with one of my dear friends more often. I’m really grateful for all the time we’ve spent talking.

How does one pick a single thing that God has done for them?! I thank him/her for my existence and all the other joys thereafter… He has always opened doors for me when others have closed and has never cast me aside. Thank you!

2009 was a very rough year for my family. One thing God has done for me recently, through some of my volunteer work, is open my eyes to see that however difficult my life may be, my misfortune pales in comparison to so many others who have such basic needs–food, clothing, shelter, etc.
Ohhhh I’ve been wanting to buy Joyce’s new devotional!!:) This might just mean God has this in store for me to win! 🙂 Hope, hope! As requested for my entry, God is teaching me to give things away and bless people. Just yesterday I gave away over $200 in movie tickets at work, each was valued at $12 a piece. Free. I had won them online on various sites and I just collected them. I felt it was on my heart to give them away and I laid them all out on the lunch table yesterday at work and they were all taken before the end of the day! I felt great knowing that I was a blessing used by God to bless others! purposedrivenlife4you at gmail dot com
