About the Book:
Counting on each other…
Meet the Black Sheep knitters — five smart, funny women who love to knit, gossip, and solve crimes.
Gloria Sterling had it all — money, looks, and a new sexy young husband. So when she’s found floating face down in her own swimming pool, shock waves ripple through tiny Plum Harbor. At the Black Sheep Knitting Shop, Maggie Messina and her circle are devastated to lose their dear friend — a woman as colorful as her fabulous yarn creations.
The police are quick to call it an accident, but sorting out Gloria’s final hours leaves too many loose ends to satisfy her friends. The vivacious, fiftysomething cougar had her French manicured tips in more than a few pots, and the threads of some inside deals stashed in her chic knitting tote.
Who was the last person to see Gloria alive on that quiet summer night? Two empty wine glasses suggest she wasn’t home alone knitting the entire evening…. The Black Sheep need to know the truth and set out to unravel — stitch by stitch — the weighty secrets that pulled poor Gloria under.

My Review:
This is book 2 in the Black Sheep Knitting series, and I was not fortunate to have read book 1. So sadly, I am coming in on this story without knowing what happened in book 1. But, that being said, I did like this story. While it’s not one that I could consider page turning material and hard to put down, I still enjoyed it.I’m sure, though, that if I read book 1, While My Pretty One Knits, I would have enjoyed this book that much more. I really enjoyed this author’s work and would recommend her books to those of you out there who enjoy a good friendship story mixed with a wonderful twist of a mysterious murder that police dub an unfortunate accident. You’ll have fun playing the detective right along with these funny, tender hearted knitting friends and feeling like you are there watching the events unfold right beside the characters! And at the end of the story, you get some really cool recipes(yum!) and knitting patterns, so for all you knitters and bakers out there, grab a copy, play detective and have fun with the bonus incentives in the back of the book! So, my over all opinion of this recommend book would be 4 stars.

Nice review. I’m on the tour as well. I agree the cooking tips are an especially nice addition to the book.
Knit, Purl, Die
I liked it also. It just makes you want to learn to knit, lol.
