The Baxters are back and they bring with them Ashley and Landon’s story!
Ashley’s trying to forget the hurtful pain from her past and raise her son. She’s sure that God and her family could not possibly love her. Until she meets four special people and they break away and pick at the cracks in her heart and help her to remember what she wants to forget. Then disaster strikes the nation- 9/11 happened. This nightmare forever changes the lives of Ashley’s loving family.
Landon has loved Ashley for years. He can’t break her walls down and is rejected, so he finds himself at the Ground Zero efforts, trying to forget her rejection and find his place.
But then another tragedy strikes the Baxter family again. Will Ashley find her faith in God and overcome her past when this new disaster strikes? Will remembering keep her from being able to love Landon…the one man who will be forever faithful to her??
Karen’s characters are struggling with every day issues, but they have such a strong family bond and a strong faith and love for God and they know that, together and with prayer, they can overcome any obstacle. Karen gives each character a unique and unforgettable personality. This book was so hard to put down, even though at times I could barely see the words on the page for the tears that were streaming down my face! But sadly, the book came to an end and it was time to say goodbye to the Baxters until next time.
When you read Remember, you’ll feel God in your heart.
I definitely recommend this book, especially if you are battling a difficult past that you are trying to forget. The Baxter family will help you through!!!
