My Review:
Miranda doesn’t believe in Christmas. She’s searching for the father she never knew and somewhere she can fit in and call home, so she finds herself clear across the ocean in England, searching for the man her mother lied to her about all those years ago. She’s taken in by a family she’s quickly coming to love but what will happen if this dear family finds out the truth about her and her father? Will she have to move back home and continue her life alone or will she find her place in this world, her father AND Christmas??
Robin Jones Gunn did a great job with this holiday novel. The characters were unique and complimented each other well. Ms. Gunn’s details of the holidays and her description of the sceneries at Christmas makes you feel cozy inside.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year, the smells, the sceneries, the love…all of it. And when I read this great novel by Ms. Gunn, I was able to close my eyes (when I wasn’t reading, of course!) and picture myself where Miranda was~right in the middle of the hustle and bustle and scenery of my favorite holiday.
I definately recommend this book with highest praises!!
